A place for the search.

This is a collection of my work and an expression of my search for meaning and my place in this existence.

The name comes from the first online avatar I created in 2002. Though he—or it—has evolved significantly, sgttomas is nevertheless the way I channel myself through this medium.

There is no canonical way to pronounce this name. If “sergeant” is used, there is no intention to imply that I have at any time been in the military or police. My heartfelt respect goes to those men and women who serve honorably.
